Borough of Newtown Budget Approved

Borough residents gathered in the Edmond Town Hall gymnasium on May 13 and approved the Borough of Newtown’s budget for 2025-26.

The vote to approve the $299,620 budget was 19-1. The new mill rate of 0.83 will take effect July 1, 2025, the beginning of the Borough’s fiscal year.
