How Do I?

Join a Board or Commission

All of the Borough Board or Commission members are elected positions.  However, should a board member resign before his/her term expires, the Board of Burgesses may appoint a person to fill that position until the end of the resigned member’s term. Visit the Boards and Commissions page to read or learn about:

  • Each Commission’s task and its authority
  • Each Commission’s meeting schedule
  • List of current members and vacancies
  • Agendas and Minutes
  • Forms and other documents that relate to the Commission’s work.

All Commission members must be registered to vote in the Borough and have a principal residence in the Borough. Contact the Chair of each Board to learn more.
