Borough of Newtown Election, Monday, May 5, 2025

The Borough of Newtown will hold an election on Monday, May 5, 2025, for the purpose of electing officials of the Borough of Newtown. The election will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Registrar’s Office located at the Municipal Center, 3 Primrose St., Newtown, CT. Absentee ballots will be counted at 8:00 p.m. at the polling place.

The candidates are:

Warden: Joseph Maher

Burgesses: Christopher Gardner, Sarah Phillips, Peter Schwarz

Clerk: Ann Scaia

Treasurer: Ann Scaia

Tax Collector: Jodie Enriquez

Board of Assessment Appeals: John Madzula

Zoning Commission Members: Douglas McDonald, Michael Mandarano

Zoning Board of Appeals: John Madzula, John Fletcher
